To we Piner grads, Bill Tauzer will always be that tough, no-nonsense Dean of Boys who meted out justice as needed. Most did not realize that he was also a teacher, even then, and had an entirely different manner about him in that role. I respected him greatly -- his concern for Piner students was genuine and heartfelt. That was a side of him most never saw.
