Ron, my youngest son (Greg's brother) had spoken with several of their friends on the phone when he was down to help me with the cremation and burial. I guess you remember they had a band group call "The Indiffference" consisting of Crag Wiper, Tim Krog, Dale Renaldo, Ron, and Greg. Just wish they would have kept it. They would practice at our house on Manor Drive - poor neighbors. Greg did continue to play drums with different groups, but finally gave it up.
Also Greg stayed friends with Melinda all these years. I was transferred back to NC for 18 years so lost track of many of his friends. After my husband died in NC, Ron came back and moved me home to Greg as he lived in my mobile while I was living in NC. We did have a good 4 years of camping and fishing. It's been really hard to lose him.
I also found a picture of Greg and Kris taken in June 1970. He never quite got over her. Ron said he was not able to play with the band as he had joined the Navy...I guess the name of the band was changed to "The Wahl" I found a article from the PD. They played at "Trade Mart" on Sat. March 28th 1:00 to 3:00 and passed out 45 records. Wow! What memories! Greg saved the picture!
